I really hope there are technical articles about streaming these games to bring my hockey fandom and my nerd fascination with scaling patterns together at last.

In my opinion, there are few live events like hockey. And, I’m not sure anything beats playoff hockey. Nobody in the world understands this like Canada, which is why it’s an honor and incredibly exciting for us to be the exclusive streaming partner of the @NHL for all national NHL regular season Monday night games for customers in Canada. We’re looking forward to delivering an amazing broadcasting experience for Canadian hockey fans. aboutamazon.ca/news/entertai…

I promise you don’t want me in an office. I will overhear your design conversation and I will over complicate the design and point out all the things you forgot to design for.

Some days I master my ADHD. Some days I demo a wall and install a new electrical outlet, to try out the soda stream I got for Christmas……It doesn’t require an outlet.

We need a fancy code name for modular code. Or maybe it was all the comparisons to the 2001 monolith that worked really well on the slides. All I’m saying is normalize common sense patterns over buzzwords.

That said… maybe we need to de-normalize making presentations and building camps of influence to drive change in businesses. That whole act really parallels religion. It’s no wonder it gets us all worked up.

As a former Yahoo! during that time. Props. That is an excellent meme.
This one about Marissa Mayer leaving Google for Yahoo is pretty good (via buzzfeednews.com/article/rey…)

Built SanFranciscoGPT.com to let anyone query SF public databases with just natural language. "show me all the muggings" "where are all the needles in Hayes Valley" access to public safety and demographic data should be democratized code is open-source and linked below:

Questions like this are great for Twitter (not so much in an interview) I was convinced that I was right and then later, wrong ….multiple times, reading though the thread. In the end, I learned a ton.
If you ever want to see how little most infosec pros know about networking, ask this deceptively hard question. "At what layer of the OSI model does TLS run on?" It's a LOT more nuanced than many (most?) think.
