Morning Scripture π Starting the day with God. π
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)
Friends, the Bible gives us a clear warning in this verse.
We must stay alert and clear-minded every day.
The devil is not resting!
He is like a hungry lion, quietly stalking and looking for someone to destroy.
Just as a lion hides in the tall grass and waits for the right moment, our enemy looks for weak spots in our lives.
He attacks when we are tired, distracted, or drifting away from God.
The good news is that we do not have to face him alone.
God calls us to stay sober in our thinking and watchful in prayer.
When we walk closely with the Lord, read His Word, and lean on His strength, we can stand firm.
Let us remember this truth today: Stay awake spiritually.
The lion is real, but our God is greater.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will guard your heart and steps.
May the Lord help each of us to be sober and vigilant, walking in His protection every hour.
