I am pretty proud of myself I created my first website where people actually sign in and then do stuff to a profile.... probably seems like not much to many of you but its SUPER COOL to me! Going to share with you all soon!

My son has non verbal autism and is also super smart but one annoying thing he likes to do is turn the volume of his computer up super loud first thing in the morning. No amount of asking him to stop has had any effect. So I downloaded this volume limiter from GitHub, but it just lived in the dock, and he figured that out pretty quickly. So next I built a little application, and he went into applications, and deleted it. Now I’ll have to figure out some kind of background script that lives silently on his computer and is invisible in applications. I’m sure I can figure it out but it’s funny how much of a loop he is putting me through.

starkly reminded of how little people understand non verbal autism with this thread.... but thanks to those who get it. I have a script that looks like it will work, and tested to work, but the real test will be tomorrow morning 😂✌️🕊️

Well so far so good! Script is working as intended, family is rested, and kiddo is happy :) will see how long it lasts as I’m sure he’s going to give it a try eventually!
