I feel it's amazing they designed aether with a crop top back then, it's so rare to see male chars with any variation at all. And unfortunately wuwa and hsr suffer from this as well.
Older male characters despite being lower quality has more interesting, memorable and unique design. For every male with fully covered fit, we still get units like Cyno or even Baizhu who has a crop top.
