Some patients with vagally mediated AF can benefit most from cardioneuroablative effect and may not need full PVI
Some of them may not even require any ablation in the left atrium

Dr. Schaller presenting the late-breaking ASCEND trial. Standing room only. @rdschaller
Beyond the science, he’s one of the best teachers we have. Constantly investing in the fellows and setting the standard for what great mentorship looks like.

Very excited to share our latest publication!
As so often happens, this case came on New Year’s Day of my first year as an attending while covering the system. I couldn’t have done it without an incredible team of supporting staff and fellows. A special shout-out to Dr. @MiguelValderrabano for listening to me work through this case and for his thoughtful advice!
Excellent work, Dr. @s_timilsina! @JACCJournals#EPPeeps#SVT#WIC#WomenInEP#Ablation#AlcoholAblation#VOM
Accessory Pathway Ablation via Vein of Marshall Ethanol Infusion: A Ca... sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

🧠Learning point:
When endocardial lesions are ineffective and activation appears broad, Vein of Marshall anatomy may be contributing.
VOM mapping and ethanol infusion can be considered in select cases.

Honored to be the lead Cardiac Electrophysiologist for the Cardiac Lead Extraction & Lead Management Program at Memorial Healthcare System.
Lead extractions are often needed for patients with infection, malfunctioning, or recalled leads—and having this advanced service at Memorial, one of the region’s largest cardiovascular hospitals, means patients can now receive this critical care close to home.
Grateful for the support of our leadership and cardiothoracic surgery colleagues, and proud of our team for their excellent and seamless execution. Excited for what’s ahead for our patients. @mhshospital@inheartmedical
Have a lot to learn from this man. Personally and professionally. Congratulations to @SpursOfficial. Swimming against the flow is difficult but still doable đź’Şđź’Ş
