Our whole city is cheering for the Knicks tonight. So it’s only right that we bring the Knicks to the whole city. Tonight, Game 5 will be streaming on 130 LinkNYC kiosks. Let’s go Knicks.

Not all heroes wear capes. Ours wears a jersey. @NYCMayor is committed to protecting consumers, workers and small businesses from predatory practices. Now we just need him to join DCWP's inter-agency softball league!

I joined @NYCMayor & Council colleagues to kick off @helloDCWP’s blitz of outreach ahead of the World Cup. We handed out the Worker’s Bill of Rights to the people that keep this city running! It is important to share worker protection information so everyone knows their rights.

The anniversary of the FARE Act is just around the corner, and the data from @helloDCWP shows exactly what we expected: a fairer and clearer rental process that finally puts tenants on stable ground.

Workers deserve better.
Amazon sets the routes, the quotas, the uniforms, the cameras — and then tells workers they don't actually work for Amazon. Every delivery worker in this city should be able to afford to live here and have their rights respected. Workers deserve better.

New @BW feature: A landmark case was unearthing new revelations about Amazon's intimate, intensive regulation of drivers it claims aren't its employees. Then Trump put Amazon's former lawyer in charge bloomberg.com/news/features/… Based on 1000s of pages of records and 50 interviews

There are many unknowns right now, but one thing is for certain — freelancers are excited to share resources, learn from each other, & hold bad actors accountable. We couldn't have better proof of that than our Freelance Isn't Free Day. Read the recap: ow.ly/3OS950Z7LaC.

Don’t let shady home improvement contractors wreck your home and your finances. Before you shop, check out DCWP’s Wall of Shame.
Before you hire a home improvement contractor, check to make sure they’re licensed! DCWP just updated our Wall of Shame, a list of contractors illegally operating without a license within the past 12 months. Check it out at on.nyc.gov/48CKwtG

It would take far more than a month to honor the contributions of queer and transgender New Yorkers. From the Cercle Hermaphroditos in 1895, the first trans advocacy group in the United States, to the drag balls of the Harlem Renaissance, to the Stonewall uprising, to the Lesbian Herstory Archives, to ACT UP!, founded in 1987 as queer people fought for their lives while the Reagan administration looked away, New York City's history has long been shaped by queer and trans New Yorkers. To all our queer and trans neighbors: you deserve a City where you can afford to live safely, openly, and joyfully. Happy Pride, New York City.

My office, @NewJerseyOAG, and @helloDCWP are investigating @FIFAcom after reports of soaring World Cup ticket prices and fans not getting seats as advertised. New Yorkers have been waiting years for the World Cup to happen here. They deserve a fair shot at affordable tickets.

Amazon is worth $2 trillion. But it didn't deign to pay the millions of dollars it racked up in unpaid fines as its’ trucks illegally polluted our air and forced New Yorkers to breathe in their exhaust.
We collected every dollar they owe the people of this city — and will continue to hold them accountable. In New York, corporations are held to the same standard as everyone else.
No company — no matter how large or powerful — is above the law.
