In this article, we cover the journey of TOTVS (B3: TOTS3). Famous for its amazing feat of owning the ERP market in Brazil. Their journey is among the titans of the tech industry - not only locally, but globally. And although the company may be flying under the radar outside of Brazil, TOTVS is the indisputable unsung giant in the region. As usual, this article will feature the stories from the companies’ early days, interviews with the founders, executives, and analyses from renowned investment firms. The unusual bit is that this story will be divided into 2 different articles. It is impossible to tell TOTVS' story without making sure its pre-IPO inception is meticulously explored, as it shows how amazing it was to have the vision the founders had before the microcomputer was a thing. We are very proud of the journey of local SaaS entrepreneurs, and we have decided to share with the world, in English, the captivating stories of companies that pioneered the internet in the region. Last Friday, we hosted our Annual Investor Day at the beautiful Yacht Club Santo Amaro. It was a day filled with content and connections. We reported on our fund performances, announced our latest investment, shared some of our perspectives on the future of SaaS, engaged in some exciting integration activities, and gained valuable insights into M&A and IPOs for SaaS from the amazing Gilberto Mautner and Alberto Menache. It was truly gratifying to see how our investors and portfolio founders embraced the event and enjoyed every moment of it. You can gauge their enthusiasm from the pictures. Our community is invaluable to us, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. We also want to express our deep gratitude to our partners in this event Lucia Sirin and Vanessa Lima, from Sirin2, and to two of our SaaS idols who generously shared their insights on the journey from 0 to IPO and beyond at Locaweb and Linx – Gilberto Mautner and Alberto Menache.

In the midst of a #TechWeek, there was a #TechRun! With so many technology events throughout this past week in São Paulo, @saasholic joined forces with @cubo_network to organize a moment of fun with national and international founders and investors. In between so many happy hours, there's nothing better than balancing it out with some exercise, and it's even better when you're in great company.

It is with great joy that we announce SaaSholic's investment in Yooga, a company that offers a complete solution for restaurant management, delivery, and payments. Last week, SaaSholic proudly hosted our renowned barbecue on the final day of the SaaStr Annual event. This gathering was made possible through our partnership with two giants of innovation and community-driven companies in the Latam tech landscape: @awscloud and @brexHQ The afternoon was a delight, with engaging conversations, collaborative brainstorming, and enriching knowledge sharing, complemented by meat and beverages - the ideal ingredients for an extraordinary ambiance. We extend our gratitude to everyone who was present, as each attendee contributed to elevating the event to new heights.
