Yesterday, we saw the Royal Barge? while waiting in queue for the Queen’s Lying In (around 4-5pm?)Today, took boat ride up to Hampton Court, saw it moored near Teddington Locks (I think) -at least not far from Hampton Court. Anyone else know anything? #royalbarge #QueenElizabeth

1/3 On my drive home from work this evening, I hit a playful kitten that darted into the street😭 It’s mates came over to investigate 😭😭 I turned around, parked, lifted its little 6wk or so body from the pavement and his breath escaped and I sobbed as the others looked at me.

2/3 I had just spent all day caring for people, ensuring their safety as a nurse at the hospital to swiftly take this little life with no way to save it. They were playing in some pipes and a neighbor looked at me pitifully and said, “I wish she kept them out of the street.”

3/3 I said across the street to her, I just rescued a kitten like him a year ago and to hit him hurt…I asked if she would please tell the owner/carer that I was so sorry. She said she would. I couldn’t control the tears as I waved at her and left.

My mom and I arrive in London next Thursday…our trip planned around Jubilee events before they end this month and in October. Our feelings are so mixed right now as we watch the coverage together. 🥺#GodSaveTheQueen 🇬🇧

Those going to London for Jubilee events - are you braving the queues to stand in place for balcony views and fly past? Husband & I may divide & conquer with kids for Trooping parade and balcony appearance….am nervous about the long wait…anyone done it before? 🇬🇧

Why have I not heard more about the struggle of isolating Covid 8 yo boys 🥺😭🤯 kid never stops moving. Never leaves the animals alone. My nurse contact precaution brain is exploding.

His class is quarantined. I’m expected to show up to work this weekend at the hospital as long as I’m not symptomatic.

Just learned the hospital closest to me (not where I work) is having a walk out amongst nurses due to their vaccine mandate. Nurses of #medtwitter need to unite on this, show this behavior isn't the norm and fight this anti science bull shit rhetoric rampant in the field.

I checked in a vaxxed pt. Complained about immune response & that never fully recovered & maybe they should haven’t have bc no long term studies.
Kindly said I have an unvaxxed family member with Covid pneumonia up the hall in ICU on vent, prone, may never fully recover.

So frustrated and so sad. I love this extended family member & fam & would never turn my back on them - Vax or not - but there is definite pain that is so real created by this situation.
