Just finished reading a new book that's just been published, written by a Nottinghamshire dad about his son's youth football journey. Would highly recommend - very relatable if you have kids who play football, particularly if they've had a toe or more in the academy world. #NFFC

There is no doubt that is huge growth in football in America led by immigrants and also because it's the main game most kids play. 20 yrs ago most people hadn't heard of the epl but now it's probably on a level with how we know nfl (name tournaments and stars)

My mum's friend has died. They met ages 15 whilst both juniors at Boots which seems to have mostly involved hanging out at the docks. They eventually lost touch until 1982 when she moved in 3 doors up. She was the non relative I called Aunty and her kids my first best mates
