I've had this postcard from Selsey Labour Party (aka my gran and her mate Pauline) in my violin case since 1997. I don't remember what I played at the 'Summer Serenade', but I do know it failed to turn the tide on Selsey's 700-year wait for a @UKLabour MP.

.@thurrockcouncil was the first polity in the world to launch a website, narrowly beating the Japanese government to the line in April 1992. Sadly this Essex unitary is currently bottom of the Logo Authority table. If you want to change that, vote it up! Link in bio.

Tragedy struck Bassetlaw District Council in 1993 when a sinkhole swallowed all serving members of the local authority's graphic design team, leaving the council devoid of the expertise required for its rebrand.

Local spend on youth services has fallen by 54%🔻 since 2010/11. That includes:
• youth work
• out-of-school sports and music
• youth councils
• careers services
• 1-1 counselling for those at risk of youth crime or unemployment
• volunteering (#nationalservice, anyone..?)
