I’ll be honest with you. Our @googlecloud Gemini Code Assist was useful, but with too many rough edges. My DevRel team, along with product, engineering, and even @ThomasOrTK had enough. So we’ve spent months removing friction from it.

How you might use Cloud Run sidecars:
1️⃣ Run application monitoring, logging and tracing
2️⃣ Eg. Nginx as a proxy in front of your app container
3️⃣ Add auth & authorization filters (e.g., Open Policy Agent)
4️⃣ Run outbound connection proxies such as the Alloy DB Auth proxy

Finished 2022 with 8k km for cycling and 456 km for running. Just had 1 too many injuries. Bring on 2023

I was making really great progress on this till I got plantar fascia. So I switch to cycling and completed 5,000 km. Still managed 303 km running. I should do 750 km running and 7,500 km cycling in 2022
