It wasn't for most, but for us, it was extremely obvious that street soccer culture would dominate soccer marketing narratives for the 2026 World Cup. We're seeing this already with Nike TOMA, Adidas Backyard Legends, etc.
Looking back, we may have been too early.
The amount of times brands asked us "but, could we just do something together on grass?"

Meet "The Pit", one of @StreetFC's marquee street soccer courts in New York City.
The Pit wasn't always a place where soccer was played, but @StreetFC started playing so much soccer there that the city painted lines for us. And, now, other people can play soccer there, too!

Listening to Graeme Le Saux and Lee Dixon spew negativity towards an Arsenal side that's won more points than any other PL team over the past 3 years - while playing great football the majority of the time - just showcases an unusual bitterness and disdain for the club
It was "they can't get it done", and now it's "they're getting it done, but not the right way"

The best World Cup memories I have (outside of watching matches) are the in-between moments:
- Opening Panini player card packs
- Quizzing each other on WC history
- Wearing my country's colors
- Following the stats and daily matchups
- Choosing a backup team to support
All of the good stuff.
I created a lineup of free products for all fans to use (live now!) to grab some of that fun back.

I grew up playing soccer my entire life, worked in soccer for 5 years, and have made hundreds of connections in the space.
I know of ~5 people with tickets to a World Cup match.
FIFA completely iced out America's soccer first households.
