Scenes from the protest that took place this morning in and around The Dillon in Raleigh, N.C. Police asked demonstrators to leave around 9:54 a.m. and threatened arrest. Two people were detained and arrested after police engaged with protesters.

The Chapel Hill Town Council approved the Housing Choices land use ordinance amendments, 6-3, at their meeting Wednesday evening.
The amendments allow for more mixed housing types to be developed in currently single-family zones.
