One of the things I enjoy most in football is when they just twat it dead hard. Doesn't happen as often as you'd imagine.

Had a bit of a breakdown recently and I'm having to take a bit of time off work, if you'd like to or are able to help me out with a few pounds, I would be so, so grateful. ko-fi.com/samanthawhyte

I thought I could just "try harder" my way out of this, but turns out I do actually need to recover.

My cool pal Lizz Brady is raising funds for her incredible project in Liverpool offering residencies to artists living with mental illness or neurodiversity. Her organisation - Broken Gery Wires - have secured an amazing space in Bootle. Exciting times! crowdfunder.co.uk/p/support-…

Before there was a method of producing cheap and plentiful penicillin, they used to extract it from patients' urine and reuse it. If Facebook had existed in the early 50s, the nostalgia memes about that would be spectacular.

I didn't realise until today that over 40% of people with ADHD have some kind of issue with addiction, particularly with nicotine, cannabis, and cocaine. I can well imagine someone self-medicating with stimulants, but cannabis is totally the other end of the spectrum, isn't it?

I assume there's even more pressure to assign a disease code in an insurance based system.

Any recommendations for tried-and-tested books or other resources on managing ADHD? Medication has made a huge difference, but I'd like to work on myself some more now that I know what I'm dealing with.

It's pride month. Slip a crisp £20 into the back pocket of your favourite queer, and tell them their hair looks pretty.
