api.getlocalhop.com/share?in… I've been invited to display and sell at Book Expo in Caro, MI, next Saturday. I love these events because I get to meet and chat with so many readers - whether they buy or not. I want to know what they're thinking and their reading interests are.

I get ideas for novels everywhere. This story came during vacation. We love Key West, but I was horrified how the homeless were treated. So I begged my wife to go back. Tough sell, right? She stayed in condo and I lived with homeless. Real people, real places, real-good fiction.

Got the idea for this novel from the REALCOMP's "scam alert" service. Scammers lured female agents to unoccupied buildings for showings only to beat & rape them. Shocking, but it turned out to be a solidstoryline - real people, real places, real issues. Just real-good fiction.

Today is my 74th birthday, so that means I'm starting work on a new story. Here's my writing routine. Rise at 5 a.m., get coffee going, snag some dry Cheerios, and turn on Motown classics to write until I tire. Then re-write before bed. Repeat until story is finished.

ICE, ICE Baby! "A Place for Murder" is a story literally ripped from today's headlines. Undocumented workers are recruited from Texas to work Michigan dairy farms for low pay and horrible working conditions. Real people, real places, real issues - just real good fiction! Amazon!
