100 days done! Sending out a big thank you to this whole community for the amazing support, sharing of info, follows, likes, laughs & endless encouragement. I was pretty terrified of social media when I started this, but you've all made me feel very at home 🙏🤗 #100DaysOfCode
D100 #100DaysOfCode🥳. A spot of Tuesday morning astronomy research & at last this one was in the bag 👇😅. Discovered today that [...] copies multi dimensional array/object values by reference not by value. Sparing a thought for all the mutated arrays I've left in my wake 🤔

Day99 #100DaysOfCode 20 down, 1 Intermediate JS algo script to go. Felt sure today would be the day, but then FCC hit me with the final challenge - calculate an element's orbital period. Sorry, WHAT?!!! There's every chance it'll take me another 100 days to crack this one
D98 #100DaysOfCode Yet more JS algos. Y'day was so unsuccessful I refused to count it (nested arrays refusing to flatten). Slammed laptop shut & decided coding's not for me. Spent this morning engrossed in converting binary to text, so guess I'm giving it another go after all 😉
D97 #100DaysOfCode Two Intermediate Algorithm Scripting challenges closer to finishing this horror of a FCC section. 14 down 7 to go. It's an emotional rollercoaster which basically goes like this:
Me as I solve each challenge...👇
D96 #100DaysOfCode Extended run this morning. Partly due to it being a beautiful autumn day, but between you & me it was mostly because I knew was waiting - sum all prime numbers less than or equal to num. Aaaargh, why FCC, why 😖😬
No code today - spent the day being blown away by the captivating speakers at @EmpowerWithTech's #adalovelaceday2020 event. Every one of them truly inspirational, every one of them smashed it out the park. Huge well done to all involved 👏👏👏#AdaRolemodels
D95 #100DaysOfCode Completed 2 more JS Intermediate Algorithm Scripts (10 down, 11 to go). Put together a new page for my friend's site, then noticed a problem with how it displays in mobile landscape mode. Started tinkering with the css media queries, but still more to do.
D94 #100DaysOfCode 3 more FCC JS intermediate algorithm scripts in the bag. Realised y'day that somewhere along the way I'd slipped back into my trusty old for loops habit, but back on board the map/filter/reduce train now. Looking forward to the day I just do it without thinking
Day 92 #100DaysOfCode Ok, so here's where I'm at with my app. All functionality working now. Just vanilla PHP, HTML & CSS with a MySQL backend. I'm well out of my comfort zone with front end, so if you spot any glaring errors please let me know 👀🙏😁 log2enter.co.uk/l2eindex.php
D91 #100DaysofCode Got my cron job working - records of customer visits are now automatically deleted from the db after 21 days. Tracked down why my home page had developed a twitch on mobile - it didn't like the viewport units (vw/vh). Plus fixed my footer! Happy days 😁
D90 #100DaysOfCode Trying to automate record deletion for my app. Thought I'd cracked it in 10mins when I got a MySQL event set up & working on my local db, but it was too good to be true - that feature's not available on the hosted platform. Now trying to hit it with a cron job.
D88 #100DaysOfCode Updated model & controller so customers receive email confirmation after registering details. Still working on the design - underestimated that task! I've got a footer that's bouncing around on mobile like an excited spaniel. Resisting the urge to bootstrap.
D87 #100DaysOfCode No home page progress today - one of FCC's Intermediate Algorithm Scripting challenge has had me on the ropes all day. Managed to solve it in the end, before checking out the best practice solution - 4 lines of code vs my 13...aaaarrrrgggh 😣
D86 #100DaysOfCode Been working on the design for my home page. Two weeks focusing on JavaScript and it suddenly feels like all the CSS skills I managed to pick up have fallen out of my head, but hoping to have something to share with you tomorrow
D85 #100DaysOfCode Nailed 1st three challenges of Intermediate Algorithm Scripting then worked on a plan of action. As my app will now just be a portfolio piece, I'm stripping the MVP right back. Time to get it over the line so I can move on to the next project - my portfolio.
