Testing my luck here hoping GCP is gonna say almost nobody visits my site. It's a bit of an expensive API. eleanor.pages.dev/drive It's so janky but its neat. It uses google map tiles to drive around Manhattan using spacebar key. Because it's google maps, this should work for literally anywhere. But obviously you can see that there's a lot of noise, the car will just drive over obstacles like other cars, and it's not very high resolution. However, it's an exciting proof of concept, if mapping APIs get cheap and higher quality you could virtually drive anywhere google maps supports. It also uses openstreetmaps to lay out the roads as the google tiles doesn't have road information.
