On Saturday I witnessed something amazing. Nuclear advocates gathered together, some coming from as far as the east coast, in San Luis Obispo, CA to save our little nuclear plant.
This movement has a beating heart. #savecleanenergy #SaveDiabloCanyon

A formal effort was launched today to stop closure of the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plantβ‘οΈ
The plant is CA's largest source of clean energy.
Closing it will significantly increase emissions & undermine CA's ambitious clean energy goalsπ

Today's rally in SanLuisObispo to keep Diablo Canyon NuclearPowerPlant open, the only course that does NOT increase CA's emissions .
The other course is Newsom's addition of 5 *new* nat'l gas plants & delaying the closure of others.
