Last week our team spent time visiting schools and gifting our new sawfish book to children on Andros.
In total
@annieguttridge and Sarontaa Bain presented to almost 700 children, all of which received a copy of the book. But that’s not all, next week we’ll visit additional schools with the aim of gifting every child on Andros a copy of the book by summer 2026.
This incredible outreach effort would not be possible without the backing and support of
@atlantisbahamas who generously donated and funded this project. In addition, we must thank
@rpigraphic who kindly printed the books at no charge, allowing us to make a greater impact.
Sawfish Bradley was written and designed by Saving the Blue President Annie Guttridge who created the book in loving memory of the late Bradley Mackey. Bradley was a local, well-known bone fishing guide who is deeply and dearly missed by all who knew him. We must also highlight Saving the Blue Creative Alison Ching who brought Annie’s vision to life with passion, skill, sensitivity and a drive for perfection.
Thank you to all who encourage our work. We are truly making a difference in the name of ocean conservation and are thankful to those who support our vision, and missions.
