Woke up to a $45 sms verification bill on one of my very first pet projects (which has $10 max per month, and it was per day). Somebody managed to do some SMS pumping attack.
Probably will have to spend the day on my unmaintained apps now, adding Turnstile and other things to make them more secure. Not something I wanted to do today. Some projects were not touched in 5 years (and still have some users)

With very simple tasks like checking if you already have GA4 on your landing: do you ask AI or manually check your code?

I see many people started writing down list of their startups and why they failed.
All of my own startups failed for one reason. All of the projects I made for clients for one reason.
90% of those projects combined did not even start the marketing. Because it is difficult

Started on working on some X/Threads features for getadpulse.app
Previously I would focus on marketing with ads. Now that I try a bit more of a social stuff - seems to be useful.
But as always, need to wait for the approval to use some of the API features.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

I was just scrolling the feed, and I see someone recorded a screencast of something.
I look closer - it looks EXACTLY like one small pet project I made for myself (to test some polymarket betting strategies).
I thought - oh shit did he signup and i did not get a notification??
Then i looked closer and figured it out. AI just builds absolutely same UI for everyone. Layouts. Colors. Fonts. Everything is the same.

First time reached limits on codex (thanks to /goal and upgrading tests on multiple projects).
Last time it was with Claude, back when I was using it in August 2025 (I was hitting every 5h limit every time).

Now getadpulse.app can display your domain rating. Maybe will add backlinks one day, but the backlog is still huge. (and still waiting for app reviews across meta, linkedin and other tiktoks).

Codex's /goal is cool. For now testing it with localisation, tests, and some marketing stuff, but feels way nicer. Saves time because you don't lose the time between the end of the last prompt (which you just forget about) and starting same new job from scratch to continue

Had to move away from OpenCode back to codex only because of the /goal command.
