First of all, thanks to @IncrlgzTrader and @scanprops. There was a real need in this industry for reliable firms to stand out. In prop trading, the important part isn’t only passing the challenge, it’s how the firm treats traders throughout the whole process and afterward. I completed the challenge phase of the 500K, 100% profit split, swap-free account I got from @E8Markets in just 2 days. During the challenge, I didn’t experience any serious slippage, which was important for me. Usually, the biggest issues with prop firms are high slippage, hidden spreads, and swap fees. By choosing a swap-free account, I removed the swap side of the risk from the beginning. Even though I mainly trade intraday, sometimes I prefer to hold certain entries for 2-3 weeks. Not feeling forced to close trades the same day or before Friday close is a big advantage for me. Another important point is that the trailing drawdown is balance-based. One of the biggest problems for swing traders is equity-based trailing drawdown systems. Systems that tighten the room before the position has time to develop can make even a good setup stressful. Since E8 calculates the drawdown based on balance instead of equity, I was able to hold trades much more comfortably. After I completed the phase, it took around 5-6 hours for the account to be approved. During that time, I also spoke with the support team and honestly found them very polite and efficient.
