Opposition turned up with own bag of sawdust, sponges, towels to ensure game went ahead.. desperate for win. Said wouldn’t bowl quicks due to bad light, lost a few runs bought them straight back on. They needed torches not for bad light but for their heads so far up own arses

July and August should be 5 match test series, T20 blast in the evenings, now we have damp test matches and an odi series against Aus in September!!! And a T20 comp that has a 5 week gap between rounds! I feel sorry for the kids who don’t live within half an hour of 💯 ground.

@scbadger how many leagues will this weather decide? Hearing games already on brink of being called off. Div6 west 2nd 3points above 3rd but playing away at Crawley no covers no chance of a game 3rd place at home so will play seems an unfair way to decide promotion after 17games
