I am pleased our latest article on diffusion in ionic liquids has been chosen by @RSC_MolEng as a HOT article. You can find it here:

Stay tuned! It will also be on the cover in October.
Fall ACS is in August, and AIChE is in November, yet the abstracts are due practically the same day (April 4/3). Why does AIChE need 85 more days of lead time for abstracts? Seems excessive.
(ACS: 131 days, AIChE: 216 days)
In collaboration with @KCarsch, we present... #MOFMadness!
Vote below for the MOFs that you think should come out on top! What criteria, you might ask? Whatever you value most: beauty, brains, brawn — it's up to you!
Cast your ballots below! 🗳️ Winning MOF gets a proverbial $5.

This paper introduces MOFX-DB, a database of computational adsorption data for nanoporous materials (over 3 million MOFs & zeolites). It is free and easily searchable. We also introduce a JSON format for reporting isotherm data that is amenable to machine learning tools
I am pleased to finally announce the publication of MOFX-DB, an online database of computational adsorption data for nanoporous materials. This free and open database contains over 3 million points of adsorption data and over 160,000 materials.

New paper out with @RandallSnurr on using design principles to improve hydrogen storage in nanoporous materials.
A significant amount of this work was done by an undergrad student, so encourage undergrads to get involved in research!

Very happy to have been a part of this cool project led by @ZhenpengYao, @A_Aspuru_Guzik, and @RandallSnurr. This is a very multidisciplinary project with elements from materials science, chemistry, engineering, and data science.
The research team, which included Northwestern Engineering's @RandallSnurr, focused on the development of metal-organic frameworks, which are considered the ideal absorbing material for removing CO2 from flue gas and other combustion processes.
I'm proud to be involved with @LettersPreSci. LPS is a pen pal program that encourages middle school students to consider careers in STEM. If you want to help inspire future scientists, please consider supporting them. prescientist.org#unselfie#togetherLPSconnects
