Well, that's it. Paradox has a bug in the game that can wipe all of your achievements permanently, requiring you to re-earn them. They've known it for two years, but just decided not to fix it.

Update, @PdxInteractive support guy thinks it's impossible for Stellaris to delete achievements, which is news to the people on the Paradox forums who had their crap deleted.
I fully expect Steam and Paradox to both throw up theirs hands and tell me to just earn them again.

Steam, also, seems to not have a problem with a game being able to wipe every achievement from that game off of your profile with no way, whatsoever, to restore those achievements. I earned most of them when you still had to be on Ironman.

1400 hours in stellaris over around 10 years, and trying to find the flags for an achievement that refused to pop, the game just deleted every single achievement I had ever earned.
I don't normally swear, but fuck you, @PdxInteractive

Steam still shows in some places that I had a certain number of achievements, but still shows blank on the page of specific achievements.

I had "Stay on Target," "Last, Best Hope," "Inscrutable Power," "King of the Monsters," and dozens of other hard to get achievements, only for my entire trophy case to be obliterated by a console command @PdxInteractive KNEW WAS BUGGED!

This is possibly the saddest thing I've seen in a long time..an immigrant nurse talking about fleeing her home..she saved her UNIFORM. So she could still WORK for our communities.
I'd fill this country with a thousand of this woman than one of those good for nothing thugs.

During the speech she says:

Karmelo didn't cry when the jury heard the 911 call after Austin Metcalf was stabbed.
He didn't cry when Austin's twin brother, Hunter, could be heard screaming in anguish and praying his brother wouldn't die.
He didn't cry when the jury was shown Austin's autopsy photos.
He didn't cry when they saw the blood-soaked shirt used in a desperate attempt to save Austin's life.
But he cried when he was found guilty.
And he cried again when he was sentenced to 35 years.
The only tears the jury saw were for his own fate, not for the life that was taken.
Austin Metcalf was robbed of his high school graduation, he will never get another birthday, another chance to live the life that was stolen from him.
Thirty-five years may be justice under the law, but for many, it doesn't feel like enough.
