Ever felt like you’re working hard… but somehow still undercharging? Or maybe you know you should track your time, but every time tracking tool feels like another chore added to your day. That’s exactly why we built Timether. A simple, privacy-first time tracker for freelancers, small teams, and people who just want to understand where their workday actually goes. No screenshots. No employee spying. No complicated setup. Just start the timer where you work — from the desktop app or directly inside your browser. Track client work, project time, billable hours, and reports without turning time tracking into a burden. Because your time has value. And the work you do should never feel invisible. Try Timether here: timether.com/ #Timether #TimeTracking #Freelancers #Productivity #SmallBusiness #SaaS #RemoteWork

We’ve added rewards to Timether 🎁 If you already use Timether and know someone who would genuinely benefit from simple, privacy-first time tracking, you can now invite them and earn rewards when they join. Every qualified referral earns you a free Pro month. You’ll also collect points along the way, which can be redeemed for Timether swag packs — stickers, tees, bottles, and more. A referral qualifies once they: ✅ verify their email ✅ keep their account for 7 days ✅ track at least 60 minutes No spammy growth hacks. Just a simple way to thank people who share Timether with others who’ll actually use it. Open your rewards page, copy your invite link, and start sharing.

I’m looking for 20 freelancers or small agencies to test Timether. Timether is a simple time-tracking app I’ve been building for freelancers, agencies, and small teams who want to track work without making it feel like surveillance. It’s currently in beta, and I’d love honest feedback from people who actually track client work, projects, retainers, or billable hours. You’ll get early access, and your feedback will directly shape the product before the public launch. Best fit if you are: A freelancer working with multiple clients A small agency or studio A consultant billing by time A remote team that needs lightweight time tracking Follow @sdglhm and drop me a DM.

Not everyone can win this circle vs square debate. But we can all lose
I love how the “but WaTcHeS arE CiRcLeS” crowd still doesn’t understand that (a) some of the most iconic watches in the world are square, and (b) smartwatches are not watches—they’re wrist computers—and computers have squared displays because that’s the best way to show text.

This has been in the pipeline for too long. Finally getting some work done and getting a macOS desktop app ready as well.

Your Rails app is lying to you. You think you know what code is “unused”. You don’t. A thread 🧵

It’s not analytics. It’s not feature flags. It’s deprecation intelligence. Built for: ◾️Rails monoliths ◾️messy legacy systems ◾️teams afraid to delete code (so… everyone)

FreshStatus is shutting down. We used it to monitor the uptime of @foss_lk and since it was built upon a convoluted mess of a system, FreshStatus really helped us. I'm no longer with FOSS Sri Lanka and FreshStatus is also shutting down. Farewell. Thank you for your free service. P.S- If anyone is looking for a similar solution, drop me a DM, I might've something for you (Been using it internally for a couple months and getting ready for beta) 😉
