embarrassed by the fact our major political parties have so little tech literacy and so much contempt for the public that they can openly say they want to 'ban VPNs' to 'protect the children' with a straight face, not knowing what VPNs are or what they're actually used for

UK government inaction over monkeypox - like the reluctance to provide PrEP - proves that queers are only tolerated in ways that render us 'productive' and gloss the state. any demand for support shatters this veneer and marks us out as parasitic. tolerance is fragile.
