I am honored to present the NYS Senate Liberty Medal posthumously to Simon Lissner, who lost his life saving his family from their burning home earlier this year. The medal is awarded for heroic & humanitarian acts. In addition to being a husband, a father, and a brother, Simon was a veteran and a member of the ski patrol at Kissing Bridge. His family & friends were on hand at a ceremony at KB.

This project will enhance safety for motorists and pedestrians while also improving navigation at this often busy intersection.
