Allahabad HC has observed that UP Police appears to be more loyal to the ruling dispensation than to the Constitution. Train accidents happen and nobody resigns. NEET paper leaks and CBSE OSM discrepancies happen, yet the Education Minister has not resigned even when students are demanding. We want to bring back the democracy that existed before 2014, when accountability still mattered.

Here is BJP on Dr. Kakoli Dastidar, a leader of TMC rebels. Then we wonder why paper leaks happen, why bridges collapse, why new roads have potholes, why pollution is poisoning our lungs, why we see people packed like sardines in trains, or women carrying water to their homes in this crushing heat. Resign and seek a fresh mandate, Dr. Dastidar and colleagues. Don't insult the public by talking about our interest.

Because if Dharmendra Pradhan resigns over paper leaks and rigging in CBSE, then Nirmala ji would have to be sacked for wrecking the economy, Ashwini Vaishnaw ji would have to be sacked for wrecking the railways, Hardeep Puri would have to be shown the door for sky-high petrol-diesel prices and shortages, Jaishankar ji would have to be sacked for messing up foreign policy in the Foreign Ministry, and if there are continuous terror attacks and Manipur is burning, then Amit Shah would have to be sacked. And when everyone is sacked, how will Sahib escape? Sahib would just pack his bags and leave! That's why no one has resigned.
