Kirill (@septengineering), Head of Security ⚔️, is a prolific blockchain security white hat best known for his work on NEAR’s Rainbow Bridge 🌈, the first trustless cross-chain bridge in the industry. He led the Rainbow Bridge team for more than two years, first at @NEARProtocol and then at Aurora. Under his stewardship, the bridge was never hacked despite holding billions of dollars in locked funds and enduring a number of high-profile attacks. At the peak of the previous market cycle, the bridge secured over $15B in TVL 💰 Kirill also managed the Rainbow Bridge security bounty program that successfully incentivized would-be black hats to turn white hat. The program paid out a number of significant bounties, including $6M for the second-largest bounty in history. I'm hiding from the world for a bit, enjoying the Boston fall months, long runs along the Charles river. I think humans are beautiful and fascinating and for the most part awesome. The internet seems to want to tell you otherwise. I disagree, but I don't have the right words for it. I'll probably do a long solo episode on Dostoevsky (especially Brothers Karamazov) at some point to help me articulate this better. I love you all.
