VoidZero, the team behind Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite , is joining Cloudflare. Vite stays open source, vendor-agnostic, and built for everyone. cfl.re/3Q1XYSX
We just solved an epic Vue highlighting bug.
`as` type assertions in directive values — `:msg="msg as string"` — have highlighted wrong for years (#520, #2096, #6007...). Not anymore.
I wanted to build a toy coding agent. Started by looking into the TUI layer. That rabbit hole turned into a full terminal UI framework.
- Write Vue components for the terminal.
- Develop them with Vite HMR.

Vue Language Tools v3.3.0 has been released!
We've added two new features to enhance the TS development experience and fixed two long-standing false positives and performance issues.

vue-clamp v1.0.0 is out 🎉
• Vue 3 support • full type support • more than multiline clamping • a cleaner API
Didn’t get to sneak in the cool new thing this time. I haven’t figured out how to support CSS hyphens with pretext yet.
Effective immediately, we are making the vite-plus repository private.
The source will be distributed exclusively through our production sourcemaps.
We believe this is the only logical path forward given the recent events.
This does not change our stance on Open Source!

.@nodejs has always been about I/O. Streams, buffers, sockets, files. But there's a gap that has bugged me for years: you can't virtualize the filesystem.
You can't import a module that only exists in memory. You can't bundle assets into a Single Executable without patching half the standard library.
That changes now 👇
1. Void is a Vite plugin righted to a cloud platform, not sure this can be a replacement of Nuxt
2. Not much as it’s the same as NuxtHub but not agnostic
3. We plan to support vite in Nuxt, big fan of the work done by the team
I have big respect to Evan and his team. It seems we share the same ideas, with 2 years difference. (NuxtHub was announced 2 years ago at Vue Amsterdam!).
I wish him the best of luck as hosting is hard, managing the servers / apps of people while avoiding any abuse is also something tricky. I do want VoidZero and Evan to find a sustainable business and future for the OSS, so we all win 💚
