James Ingle will replace Gainesville Commissioner Reina Saco, who stepped down, while Commissioner Duncan-Walker continues to represent District 1 with 78% of the district behind her. The change will happen in January.

The Legislature expanded the uses of PACE, added consumer protections and closed a loophole. But 13 counties and 40 county tax collectors remain in lawsuits before the Florida Supreme Court and in lower courts.
