8) It got one of them to back off at least, and the other was too piss-drunk 24/7 to be much of a threat on their own. Still...I knew I wasn't safe there. Had trouble sleeping. Had to just...go anywhere else. So I couch surfed, slept in my car sometimes.

9) I was scared to go back. It cost me money, not being able to be near a computer or have reliable internet. I guess I was hoping I'd land a job during this time that would fix things. But soon I had trouble affording the room I had been staying in. And then I was homeless.
