Most people graduate college without ever leading anything real. Four years of classes. Clubs. "Involvement." But 1,925 students decided differently in 2025. They didn't just talk about ideas. They changed laws, built businesses, organized in war zones. Here's what happened: ๐Ÿงต

This is one of the most insane and wonderful success stories ever. Note who is upset about that vs who is excited.

In 1948, Black teenage unemployment was lower than white teenage unemployment. The gap reversed within a decade and has not closed in seventy years. Walter Williams documented every American law responsible in "The State Against Blacks", 1982. Mainstream labor economists still ignore him. ๐Ÿงต

Intentions do not change outcomes. A policy is judged by what it does. The teenage unemployment series and the demographic maps after urban renewal are still public record.

The State Against Blacks was reviewed in one Black-economics journal in 1983 and largely ignored by mainstream labor economics. Williams continued writing for four more decades, chaired economics at George Mason from 1995 to 2001, and died in 2020. The Congressional Record and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) series he cited are still open to anyone. The argument is still waiting for a serious refutation.

"In my opinion, a society that aims for equality before liberty will end up with neither equality nor liberty. A society that aims first for liberty will not end up with equality, but it will end up with a closer approach to equality than any other kind of system that has ever been developed." โ€” Milton Friedman

Are liberal democratic countries under attack by authoritarian regimes like Russia, China and others? What are the sneaking ways in which authoritarian countries export their totalitarianism and expand their influence abroad? We discussed that and more last month at LibertyCon!

Those that believe in Bernie Sanders and liers like him can double check in these books๐Ÿ‘‡ cato.org/blog/johan-norberg-โ€ฆ
For decades, American politicians cited Sweden as proof that democratic socialism works. The Wall Street Journal sent a reporter there in 2026 to see for themselves. The Sweden they found is not the country Bernie Sanders describes on the debate stage. ๐Ÿงต
