Stephenson Global Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute (SGPCRI) fuels research, funds innovation, and drives global collaboration to fight pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer has devastated families for decades.
It is often caught at stage 4 because there is no reliable way to detect it earlier. Early detection research is where the most promising breakthroughs are happening.
What early detection research shows the most promise? š
The next generation of #PancreaticCancer researchers is in the field right now. Whether they stay depends on funding.
Every researcher who leaves takes potential breakthroughs with them. We refuse to let funding drive the best minds away.
What would a breakthrough mean to you?
Somewhere right now, a researcher is working on a pancreatic cancer problem that most people have written off as too hard, too early, or too far from a result. That's exactly who we're looking to fund.

Pancreatic cancer kills more Americans per year than breast cancer.
In 2024, breast cancer received $150 million in federal research funding.
The same year, pancreatic cancer received $15 million.
In 2025, federal funding was cut to zero.
This is the gap we exist to close.
One of the most memorable moments of #ASCO26: a standing ovation following the presentation of the full daraxonrasib results.
This is a powerful reminder of why we do this work and who weāre fighting for.
Grateful to seeĀ @SGPCRI Scientific Advisory Board members Drs. Kevan Shokat & Liz Jaffee in the @nytimes on a onceāāimpossibleā #pancreaticcancer breakthrough. With this momentum building, weāre looking ahead to Dr. Brian Wolpinās #ASCO26 presentation: nyti.ms/4uNaKDI
We are filled with deep gratitude and renewed hope as we mark an extraordinary breakthrough in pancreatic cancer research. We're witnessing the beginning of a new era in targeting RASādriven cancers.
