Recognize that sorting fics purely by kudos and only reading ones above a certain threshold is limiting yourself. You’re letting popularity decide what’s worth your time. Break free from that peer-pressure popularity contest, and you’ll start discovering some real gems.
this is so true. some of my favourite fics have less than 1k kudos (some less than 500) and a lot of people won't give them a chance just because they see the "low" number and think it's not worth it.
