Today marks the 81st anniversary of the Day of Remembrance—a day for all of us to reflect on the injustice suffered by Japanese Americans when President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 on February 19, 1942. #NeverAgainIsNow
In the documentary I Know That Voice, Kevin Conroy tells this unforgettable story about working at a food relief station in Manhattan in the days after 9/11. It’s one of my favorite stories he told about the power of his talents. Rest In Peace Mr. Conroy
Just got back from celebrating 20 years together with my favorite guy… it’s a crazy sort of world out there, so I’m glad some things never change. Happy Sharniversary, @Guardabascio ❤️
My kids’ dad is the best dad.
Happy Father’s Day to @Guardabascio, who loves our babies with his whole heart. Thank you for lifting them up, keeping them safe, and encouraging them to be just as weird as their parents. We love you!!
So proud of my little girl, who graduated Kindergarten today even though she was only born two months ago. Special thank you to @moe_wendell@RuffinsTyson and their family you can see how much the leis meant to her. Grateful for my family and our loving community of Long Beach
