A child lost his life, and before the facts were established, the usual opportunists couldn’t wait to exploit his death and turn it into tribal and xenophobic propaganda to push their own narratives.
The fact is, they didn’t care about the truth. They didn’t care about the grieving family. All they cared about was fueling outrage, weaponizing tribalism, and scoring cheap points online. It is absolutely disgusting.
Now that the police have clarified that those initial claims were untrue and that this was a tragic altercation during a theft, not a xenophobic mob killing due to him being Tsonga, where is the accountability?
