Consultation is not Consent! Canada’s FPIC is not the UNDRIP FPIC international minimum standard! First Nations should develop & implement territorial self-determination plans for Aboriginal Title and Treaty lands, territories & resources!

"Fast Car" was a worldwide success after Tracy Chapman's unexpected performance in Nelson Mandela's 70th Birthday Tribute (Wembley Stadium, 1988). She had already played her normal set, but when Stevie Wonder had a technical problem with the equipment, the organizers called her at the last minute to fill the time. She returned to the stage with only guitar and sang "Fast Car" to millions of live viewers, which was the moment that launched her international career.

Albertans have spoken. The courts have spoken. There should be no separatist referendum — especially after a massive data breach tied to the separatists. 🇨🇦 Get involved: foralbertaforcanada.ca

Danielle Smith isn’t a separatist. She is, has always been, a destroyer. She was on Calgary School Board. Destroyed it. She had talk radio program. Destroyed it. Leader of Wildrose Party. Destroyed it. Premier of Alberta - she will destroy it. It is what she does, what she is.

It cannot be the case that the projects that get prioritized in Canada are those where a Premier threatens to leave the country. Next week, I’ll be meeting with the Prime Minister to bring him a list of projects we can work on for the benefit of all Canadians.
Community note
The claim implies Alberta is being uniquely prioritized. But Canada’s Major Projects Office already lists projects across Canada, including B.C.; Ottawa’s first MPO announcement included B.C.’s Red Chris expansion, and B.C. lists 35 priority projects worth $88B. canada.ca/en/privy-counc… pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-r… www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/em…

Remember! Carney gov't is using a Canada version of FPIC, which is based on legal burden of proof on First Nations & replaces international version of FPIC!

We’re sick of white grievance politics in Alberta. Right wing Albertans are the most whiny, privileged and entitled bunch of settlers in the world.
