Have any #localseo folks tried to edit business hours lately at @GoogleMyBiz ? I've been trying to extend a clients 5 locations to their annual "summer hours" since last week, so finally posted this morning. support.google.com/business/… (Glad this didn't happen in the winter when they started closing earlier)

Oh boy. A German court has ruled that Google is directly liable for what its AI search overviews say. Previous case law shielding search engine operators from liability doesn't apply to AI overviews.

An agency client of mine lost a client of theirs a couple of weeks ago, and the clients new website is live. There's no @googleanalytics on the site anymore, and the site is no longer rendering www. Yeesh! You really need to better @getrebolt...

Three independent sources said the same thing: the GEO playbook doesn't work.
Frontier labs have already publicly hedged on what their systems can do. Ahrefs ran a controlled study and found no citation uplift. Last Friday, Google published documentation saying the prescriptions aren't needed.
The frameworks keep selling.
