I was just getting to know about Fable and they already pulled the rug. Very disappointing. Hope they figure out something

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

I didn’t ask ChatGPT 5.5 for “productivity tips.”
I gave it access to Gmail Calendar and asked it to actually fix the mess.
Here’s what happened:
• Scanned ~94,878 inbox emails
• Found ~17,478 unread emails
• Labeled 4,898 billing/subscription emails
• Labeled 1,800 AI tools/project emails
• Archived 1,299 newsletter emails
• Labeled 396 security/account access emails
• Labeled 1,542 travel/booking emails
• Added billing reminders to Google Calendar
• Added holiday schedules
• Created a weekly Gmail review ritual
This is where AI becomes truly useful.
Not “write me a poem.”
Not “summarize this article.”
But:
“Help me operate my life better.”
That’s the shift.
AI is moving from chatbot → operator → personal OS.
