Oldendorff carriers have taken delivery of another two 82000dwt bulk carriers from Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry since the beginning of November. KODY OLDENDORFF was delivered on the 6th and a day later KALLE OLDENDORFF joined the fleet.

Tuong Aik Shipyard Sendirian Berhad has laid down 4 x 290 GRT tugboats (IMO: 1148225 - 1148251) in the last fortnight of October for Indonesian owners. This is in addition to the two laid down in the first half of the month.

Most shipping photographers only like photographs taken in bright sunlight as it brings out the best in the ship. I have a slightly different philosophy in that even in rain a ship photograph is not just about the ship but the conditions which seafarers encounter. ALS Clivia.

11 years after construction was commenced JSP PO Sevmash Shipyard, Severodvinsk has launched the sole Project 09851 special purpose submarine for the Russian Navy Khabarovsk on 1 November 2025.

Celebrity cruises has taken delivery of the 5th Edge class ship Celebrity Xcel (IMO:9884136) from French shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique S.A. on 23 October 2025 at the same time steel was cut for the Celebrity Xcite - the 6th Edge class vessel.
