it's a neat mechanism. Since L2s have no mempool to queue underpriced L2 txns, OP borrows the L1 gas metering for L1->L2 txns. Otherwise sequencers can cause denial of service by manipulating the L2 gas price and causing L1->L2 txns to revert due to L2 gas underpricing.

Also since you burn L1 ETH to get L2 gas for forced inclusion, and you withdraw actual ETH from the L2 bridge, it would be weird to be able to convert burned ETH into real ETH using FI

Commit-reveal helps prevent oracle front-running, but sometimes the commit itself leaks signal. One idea: split commit/reveal into separate contracts. Use a stealth address for commits, then publicly reveal to trigger actions.

Did you know that withdrawal of liquidity from ANY bonding curve does not need slippage protection (no minX / minY) because any attack can only increase value of the user but not decrease?

but when withdrawing LP, there's shallower liquidity and therefor backrunning has a worse price?

can someone explain to why I shouldn't use infinite "slippage" when withdrawing LP?

"slippage" check is useless. "front running" can't hurt LPs withdrawing (as long as current pool price is correct?)

When I was in college I actually volunteered tutoring refugee kids math afterschool at a Lutheran social services of the southwest. Idk anything about refugee policy or who or why this work should be funded (schools themselves could do better?), but was a fun experience
