Hey guys, here the updated areas of major changes and you need to move out. Other than of these major changes, there are also minor changes that can affect your base because of replace rock meshes and all the foliage. Hey guys, just a quick update of the Amissa update. First of things are going well and i'm on the finish line. I also did a huge thing to the snow biome, so if you have a base there you should leave. Sorry about that. So all in all everything is looking great so far, BUT ... YES ... i need a bit more time without rushing things and also careful testing. Therefor there is now a new final date for the update. @survivetheark #playARK

I'm happy to announce that Amissa will not require the LC DLC anymore. New meshes are now within the map folder and with the help from @ZenRowe and @powerpoof the final map file size is still very good and less as the current map file size. @survivetheark #playARK

Hey guys, i just found out something regarding the upcoming Amissa update. Because i'm using cliff rock meshes from LC, you need the DLC installed to use Amissa. It might be a big issue for someone, but the meshes are way too big to copy them into the map folder. I'm sorry that i find it out that late, but i can't change that any more. I thought the LC map assets would be part of the main game and i didn't check at the beginning. @survivetheark #playARK

With the last fix update for now for #TheVolcano Premium, i'm pretty happy with the state of the map. With now 2 custom bosses, a new mini challenge, a big snow area and underwater bosses there's a lot to do. For the next big content update there are plans to rework the swamp area and the ocean part of the desert, also unlock a new island and a new custom boss. The free version of #TheVolcano will also get a update this week. This includes some fixes, optimizations and additions. So player of the free version will also have a few new things to do. Also #Amissa is not forgotten. A rework update is in the works to bring a face lift, better performance and no crashes. After a long time the new content update for #TheVolcano Premium is online. **Patch Notes Map Version 13** !!Final change to artifact caves. They're now not buildable and also a small area around the entrance of such caves. That is for PvE and PvP. Current bases in such caves will get huge damage. Right now it's the only way to give everyone the same chance to progress on the map unofficial and official. I'm open for a better solution. !! - unlocked snow island - changed Ext. island to have a more natural shape - changed the mesh for map borders and map ceiling - opened up the ocean to help shasta to spawn(now fixed) - moved ice wyverns to the new snow island - added new custom boss (Bull Emperor, rewards like Gorilla) - added 3 new artifact caves - added a few new buildable caves(in the new snow area) - added Elderclaw - added Megaraptor - added Deinonychus - added Ice Titan - added underwater mini boss (just a bigger and meaner megalodon) - introducing the first Mini Challenge (easy and nothing special, to test how you guys like it. There are more coming and different) - copied some rock materials to the map folder for a temp fix, because WC did some changes, until the new dev kit is available to make a final fix - fixed some mesh holes Known issues: - Manticore not attacking - some parts of the ocean is missing foliage and stuff - some part of the new snow area are still a bit empty (will be added/fixed in the next update) #playARK @survivetheark @NotDollie @CurseForge

With the message below, i want to thank you all for this great year. My both maps Amissa and The Volcano including the Premium release are going great and will continue in 2026 to be better. I will release 2 big updates, soon the upcoming (snow)content update for The Volcano Premium and later the rework update for Amissa. All the work i put in, in all my work, accomplished by me and also from other modders is only for you to enjoy. Sure sometimes the road is bumpy, but you guys make it all easy. Need to add one more cave and then check why some spawns are not spawning for the update. The new idea i had is also working and if you guys like that, there will be coming more but different. Hey guys, since the Amissa map update yesterday i got reports of crash loops, not able to join the map and crashes when opening a inventory. I want player able to play on my map so therefore i've removed the latest update version 45 and the last stable version 44 should be online now. **What does that mean now?** All changes/fixed and added new dinos are removed. Tamed new dinos of course still stay because they're part of the game, but they will not spawn anymore. **When will it be back?** Because i need to focus on the upcoming The Volcano Premium content update, which will also be moved to December 20025, the changes/fixes and new dinos will be back with the content update in the first quarter of 2026. I'll also had plans to change the volcano area of the map and for that i'll take the chance to make further changes and improvements to the map with that content update. What's bugging me for a long time is the file size. Because i need to upload about 9GB of source files for each update and also it's a big files size because of a lot of custom assets, i need to think about what and how i can change that.

Hey guys, i hope you all doing great. Since i'm back from my vacation RL took pretty much over and i had barley time for the maps. Here some info and first for The Volcano Premium. With the upcoming content update there will be changes to caves for PvE and PvP. All artifact caves and a small area around the entrances of such caves will be not buildable. So all players have a chance to progress on the map. Also all important areas will be not buildable. Which areas that would be is just up to me, not the player. For caves builders, there will be enough caves you can build and stay safe. They will be added step by step. New dinos will also be added with the upcoming content update. There will also be a change to the beach area of the Ext. island. If you have a base there you need to move just in case. There's no final ETA for that, the rough ETA would be end of November. So i'm sorry for the wait. About Amissa, i've still no idea what is causing the crashes mainly on PS5. I'm working on a small update to bring the landscape fix in for console,also new dinos and some other things. I need to test a bit more and that update will be ready end of next week. The last big content update will be moved to next year.
