The US secretly approved a financial and maritime arrangement between Qatar and Iran, under which billions of dollars were paid to Tehran in exchange for free passage for Qatari tankers and ships through the Strait of Hormuz, three diplomatic officials now confirm.
This was a deliberate and conscious course of action by the US administration, which allowed its navy to turn a blind eye to the arrangement, in complete contradiction of its declared policy. The move was intended to ease the crisis in global energy markets and curb rising oil prices.

how then are thousands of people slain by police officers each year? isn't it something like 10,000? extrajudicial executions? surely you are not blaming them for failing to insist upon their constitutional rights?
they are probably all described as "resisting arrest"--"threatening a policer officer." especially, persons of color have little bargaining power with an armed officer.
you do sound very bourgeois, sheltered. confident that no police officers would ever harm you.
I believe people should exercise their constitutional rights. No, it's not a joke.

What is our concrete program for the ending of the USA as such? It's not enough to change the name and not change the people and culture in some major way, otherwise the substance that was the USA persists. But what specific changes DO need to be made to really abolish the USA?
I think this is right, of course, but I have been wondering about very concretely what dissolution means.
Independence for the internal colonies, name change, flag change, huge changes in how history is taught, new constitution for sure but how (no senate). But what else?
