Very rarely check in here. Like most non-bot users my day to day microblogging is happening over on Bluesky. bsky.app/profile/sihil.net

Replying to @EDI_Airport
@EDI_Airport is it normal for the airbus to take 20 minutes to get from the airport stand to the roundabout on jubilee road? Should I walk?

No need to reply as I won’t check/see it. Related: you should get an account on Bluesky where all the non-white-supremacist supporters have gone.

@HMRCcustomers I have received several emails this morning saying: “You have requested a code you can enter on the Government Gateway screen to confirm your email address. Your confirmation code is:” This was definitely not me requesting this. Please advise on what I need to do?

I've had my @uunatek iDraw A3 v2.0 for almost a year & finally set aside time from the young family to actually use it. First thing? A generative Christmas tree card. Source code and Inkscape-free workflow described at github.com/sihil/christmas20… Been a fun process. #plottertwitter

The only times I come onto twitter/kiss these days are when I’m hunting for someone to give a Bluesky invite code too.

Why is it, @sainsburys, that I'm never able to order wine in my online orders when it's a slot that should be able to, but only just. I think this might be some off by 1 error in your system somewhere? I have a hunch that I see this when we're on GMT (not BST) but might be wrong.

I cannot believe that I'm reading the words in this article. That @TheEconomist is genuinely advocating for genocide. Genuinely considering cancelling our sub. It's not like it would even going to achieve what they are claiming it will.
Despicable, tone-deaf but utterly predictable @TheEconomist editorial calling for more war crimes and crimes against humanity in #Palestine w this doublespeak zinger: "A ceasefire is the enemy of peace" economist.com/leaders/2023/1…

The exorcism of hamas, if they achieve it, will only foster some other outlet of the incendiary and frankly righteous anger of the Palestinian people. I’m so so disappointed that @TheEconomist has stooped so low.

Compare & contrast! Attacking "civilian infrastructure, especially electricity, are war crimes. Cutting off men, women, children of water, electricity and heating with winter coming - these are acts of pure terror". UNLESS the attacker is Israel. Then it's NOT terror!?@?!!!
Russia’s attacks against civilian infrastructure, especially electricity, are war crimes. Cutting off men, women, children of water, electricity and heating with winter coming - these are acts of pure terror. And we have to call it as such. x.com/i/broadcasts/1lPKqBgDg…

Hamas's attack and the events unfolding since yesterday are unspeakable. We could talk about their cruel and criminal actions, or focus on how our Jewish-supremacist govt brought us to this point. But as former Israeli soldiers, our job is to talk about what we were sent to do 🧵

I hope that in Europe we are somewhat better protected against such warrants, but I've travelled abroad to the USA and other places in the past and plan to do so again.

What remains a puzzle to me is how journalists @guardiantech like @SamuelGibbs can give five stars to products that put consumers at risk like this. I'd like an automatic one or two star penalty for these fundamental privacy problems. A recent example: theguardian.com/technology/2…
