Saturday I will have "Colored Tones" performed at the Howland Center in Beacon NY on a Composers Concordance (6PM). Tuesday, Thomas Piercy performs selections from "Tides", for clarinet and piano, at the National Opera Center (7PM). I am beginning to feel like a composer again!

Yesterday students from the 3rd Street Music School performed "Warm Words for a Cold Evening" and "Singing My Song", and Joan Forsyth (the organizer) performed Contrasts from "Fleeting Moments" yesterday at MakeMusic in Madison Square Park. Music everywhere June 21 !

This must be my brass week. Jakob Larsen will perform my bass trombone work this Saturday morning at MSM. Jenna McQuade did a wonderful performance of Protected Sleep last week, and Caiti Beth McKinney just released (yesterday) a long interview on my horn music on her podcast.

I am listening to some short piano works by women in preparation for being at guest artist at Saturday's Piano Music Hour at the Third Street Music School. So glad to get to know these works! I can't wait to meet the students performing them, and offering my comments.
