The Tories will dismantle our democracy piece by piece in a manner that most of the electorate will not even notice. Gradually moving the UK to a one party centralised state with only token opposition. We need a #ProgressiveAlliance or #DemocraticAlliance to stop this.

He's finished - has outstanding complaints already and escaped a No Confidence vote with the Tories voting for him by a single vote previously The Reform UK leader of Warwickshire County Council George Finch faces a solicitor-led investigation after a row over a social media post that depicted a Conservative councillor dressed as a burglar. The 19-year-old has been the subject of complaints alleging he breached the authority's code of conduct by publishing the mocked-up image. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c872…

A REMINDER: Pre-Brexit, UK net migration was 100-200k a year, mostly from the EU. Nigel Farage pushed hard for Brexit to β€œtake back control”. It happened under the Tories. Then numbers exploded to 900k. Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick ran the Home Office and ramped up migrant hotels. Now in Reform UK they blast the very immigration crisis they helped create. They blame the migrants, pose as the only saviours, and dodge all responsibility. This is classic Reform gimmick: Create the problem, jump ship, then sell the outrage. Only a fool falls for it. It is a CON job. Don’t fall for it. #ReformUK

Russia is "creating fake online far-right and Muslim groups" to cause division. They are promoting a "relentlessly bleak view of the UK and spread racist abuse about migrants and Muslims". It is infecting our public debate and tearing our country apart. We must resist it.

Here's Traitor Tommy Robinson with Errol Musk in Moscow. Errol Musk is close to oligarch Konstantin Malofeev who serves as one of Russia's main links to its Western political assets and tools. While in Russia, Yaxley-Lennon, to give him his real name, posted this piece of propaganda for the Academists, a neo-Nazi group belonging to Malofeev's network. So there is every reason to believe Traitor Tommy went to Russia to touch base with Malofeev's network, and that he is serving as a tool in Russia's influence network.
Tommy Robinson is a traitor working for Putin. He should be properly known as Tommy "Traitor" Robinson. Here he is in Moscow with fellow Putin tool Errol Musk. Robinson said, β€œRussia is not the enemy of Britain. That narrative has long since died a natural death. There are those who benefit from pushing Russia as an enemy but everyone laughs at those people now.” That is a Russian propaganda lie. Yaxley-Lennon, to give him his real name, is a traitor serving a fascist dictator who is waging hybrid war against the UK and conducting a genocidal invasion of Ukraine. Almost every leading member of the far-right on both sides of the Atlantic is a traitor colluding in Putin's war against democracy. Moscow is the global HQ of fascism, just as Berlin was in the 1930s and Rome in the 1920s. And when they go there the fascists do so to betray their country. Just as in the 1930s treason is wrapped in the banners of patriotism. Anyone who supports these new fascists is, knowingly or unknowingly spitting on the sacrifices of the British people in WW2. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

It looks as though Vladimir Putin may have ordered an arson attack against the British Prime Minister last year. That is an incredibly serious escalation and shows why we must redouble our efforts with Ukraine and the rest of Europe to resist and deter Putin’s aggression.

Exactly @Lord_Sugar Farage, Johnson and Gove have gone very quiet. Small businesses are still paying the price every single day with extra costs and red tape. Sunderland voted Leave, yet Nissan only went there because of frictionless access to the EU market. Brexit would be a disaster, it’s wrecking the UK.
Watched Brexit programme on BBC today. What would Farage, Johnson and Gove say now. We are in a total mess. Small biz can't do biz easy with EU .The biggest disaster I have experienced in my life time. Sunderland tipped the scales. Nissan only went to Sunderland so they could sell cars to the EU at low prices.

My thoughts. Contrary to what many politicians expected, the public did not rally behind Brexit once it happened. On the contrary, the costs of Brexit, & the new geopolitical situation, means a majority now want to team up again with our European neighbours northeastbylines.co.uk/news/…

Jobs for young adults is a pressing issue of our times. One possibility is that a freeze or reversal of the state pension age could release jobs for younger adults. It could also give a respite to senior citizens being worked to death. What do you make of the Minister's reply?

There are billionaires who buy giant luxury yachts and private islands, but they are not the ones to worry about. The ones who should be troubling us are the billionaires who care little for luxury, and dream instead of using their billions to control humanity. They are the dangerous ones, with megalomaniac projects, such as the longtermist project of assuring the future of humanity for thousands of years into the future, or Thiel's project to defeat the woke global antichrist. As we saw with Nazism and communism such grandiose projects require sacrifices that are always intended to be made by ordinary people, not the leaders. And, of course, these projects require specially brilliant leaders, or rather leaders who have convinced themselves and others into believing in their brilliance, and for that reason they require the suppression of liberty and democracy, lest ordinary folk block the path laid out by the leader. Having seized immense power the leader, convinced of his own importance, is prone to see his own personal prejudices and resentments as exemplifying issues of world historical significance. So the grand project becomes infected with the leader's personal prejudices. It is such billionaires who should be allowed nowhere near political power.
