For a year @thecsp stood silent in their call for neutrality (don’t be gaslit by the October 3rd statement) whilst our physiotherapy colleagues and their families were killed. The society and its leadership @IshmaelBeckford @ScouseAHPLeader have lost all moral conscience

Perhaps instead of using his position to spread his own beliefs, the minister should actually look at palliative care. Most UK hospice do NOT receive NHS funding. Perhaps actual investment by the DHSC would help societies most vulnerable rather than political agenda @wesstreeting

2/2 The PR failure and linguistic gymnastics has been ridiculous. They've stood out like a sore thumb amongst other health bodies & as a trade union in their conduct. No humility

The hypocrisy and double standards by the CSP and its leadership has been appalling. The way they deleted the Ukraine support campaign pages as it then conveniently no longer looked balanced within current events x.com/shoiab1/status/1782404… x.com/shoiab1/status/1748071… 1/2

This just sounds awful. If the CSP had a no comment/silence policy position for 1 place on the world map, Israel-Palestine, yet still came out to support Ukraine. Internally and externally looks like double standards no? No equity in response on a humanitarian level?

Having challenged @ScouseAHPLeader over the blatant lies and dis-information produced by @thecsp council in its latest statement on Gaza, seems she cannot answer truthfully and is hiding. One cannot hide from the truth forever. Morally repugnant.

The statement is performative to attempt to appear that they were on the right side of history all along. They have made a good effort at avoiding publicising the u-turn.

csp.org.uk/campaigns-influen… #Hashtag The @thecsp has finally listened to its members. We should however call out the blatant lies in this article. Having pushed neutrality for a year, there has been NO consistent call for a ceasefire. An attempt to re-write its history.

Whilst not seen all footage @AndyBurnhamGM victim shaming - it’s not clear cut. It’s clear that officer stomped on a head, then kicked them more than once in the face whilst they were detained. Perhaps we try it on you? Only thing not clear cut will be your re-election!

Witnessed horrendous driving by @NorthumbriaNHS facilities van SD24 UTP on A69 with speeds > 80mph today. Begs the question - should publicly owned vehicles be required to have speed limiters thus reducing the cost to the public purse of excessive insurance costs!

Slating a free service to work out pay because they have a discount code for a paid service! I smell kickbacks! Just shows the manipulative greed of this Dr.

No one is forced. If it were a PA, this was the practice not being willing to pay for a locum GP and the responsibility lies with the practice lead GP. Medics can bad mouth PAs as much as they wish but at then end of the day, it’s not about patient safety, it’s about money

And what medics like this won’t tell the public, is that GP practices are NOT owned by the NHS. They are PRIVATE businesses. Average GP partner £130,000 salary. Insurance paid for by the practice. GP Partners decide how they spend YOUR money, not the NHS. Profits for GPs!

Let’s remember that GP surgeries are publicly funded private businesses completing NHS work. How they spend their money isn’t up to a government or NHSE Let’s abandon this model & make all GP surgeries part of the NHS. Can scrutinise how money is spent and remove profiteering

The most hilarious thing about this absolute contrived speculation in these posts is the comment on negotiating strength. The BMA is still blind that it has - none. More than a year into strikes and you’ve failed your membership. Drs are being led down the path!
284
Patient safety would be not abandoning them because the BMA failing to agree appropriate pay rises for the last 10 years. Let’s stop pretending the BMA care about patients, - money and power hungry Medicine has moved on, stop trying to drag it back to the dark ages.

Whilst thousand of hard working people are forced to use food banks, Drs are complaining about being paid £49/ hr. Yes they work hard, but they’ve lost their compassion. @BBCNews @guardian
