BBC: “What was your screen time?” Student: “Nine hours.” BBC: “You’re gong to have a lot more time to fill. What will you do?” Student: “Stare at a wall.”

Everyone tweet Kill Yourself at @Keir_Starmer because apparently that will magically turn him suicidal I've no evidence for this but it's the precautionary principle

Lol "deprivation"
Replying to @CharlottEngland
Hardly surprising. Brighton is a cesspit of sexual deprivation and anti British freaks.

If every single road is blocked by a fringe far left terrorist antifa bloc and your overwhelming number of patriots is about 100 useless idiots who are just going to have to go home looking stupid again, maybe you're not the silent majority you claim to be?

This week the most advanced AI model on the planet got switched off by a foreign government. British researchers were studying it. British companies were testing it. British hospitals were piloting it. Not any more. This isn't an AI story. It's the story of every industry we used to lead. Britain has some of the best AI talent in the world. DeepMind was built here. Our AI Safety Institute writes the rules other countries follow. We have the researchers, the universities, the standards. What we don't have is the power stations to run the data centres, the planning system to build them, or the industrial base to make the chips. So the work happens here and the value lands somewhere else. We invent. Others build. Others decide. Then we read about it on Saturday morning. Same story as the kit our soldiers don't have. Same story as the factories we used to. I spent nine months in government making this argument inside the room. I'll make it louder from outside.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

That should teach that bus for stabbing that guy

That's my personal benchmark smashed. I don't know what AGI is, but Fable 5 is AGI.

I know you're getting on a bit, but did you cum when you typed out the word 'savage'?
I have written to the Prime Minister.

The biggest film in the world right now is pretty much a direct result of under 16s being on social media.

Obviously, like any non-moron, I will be doing everything I can to help my kids circumnavigate any shit stupid 'ban' on socialising in ways that stupid old cunts don't understand. It's everyone else I'm worried about.

Stupid, lazy, bovine parent twats. What are you going to ban next when this makes everything worse?
UK consultation results show overwhelming support for social media age limits, with 89% of responding parents backing a legal minimum age requirement. The debate is increasingly shifting from whether age assurance works to how it should be governed and enforced. #ageverification biometricupdate.com/202606/u…
Community note
To say that ~9700 people is an overwhelming support is misleading. gov.uk/government/pub… A petition against it was signed by ~65000 people. "Do not ban social media for under 16s": petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7572… And the anti-digital ID (which is also a form of age verification, amongst other things) was signed by nearly 3m petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7301…

Reminder once again that there’s 0 scientific consensus on whether social media is actually harmful for kids. There’s evidence it is, and plenty of evidence also that it helps people form connections and resist isolation at what can be the most difficult time of your life

Made this with chatGPT, happy now

Luddites actually out here pretending to be angry that wordart/comic sans local fete posters are being replaced by low effort chatGPT ones. Oh no, how will the aesthetic recover

I genuinely can't fathom how anyone can hear the extremely poetically memorable phrase 'King-in-the-North' even one time and then get it wrong. And so much more so if you deal with language in your JOB. I wouldn't trust myself to write any English sentence with so tin an ear.
48
Hey, @JAHeale IN. He's the king IN the North, not OF. It's from a VERY popular book series and Television programme. I've already unsubbed from all the liberal podcasts for this, don't make me unsub from yours as well. IN IN IN.
