I won a copy of 2000AD prog 23, from 1977! I didn’t start reading it until maybe seven years after this, but I’m instantly transported back to a weekly obsessive read and a developing sense of appreciation of good art and good stories. Zarjaz!

I vote for a return to all lower case, oddly spaced typography in road signage. It’ll give everything more of a mid-20th century modernism feel. Also, somebody should clean this sign.

Kramer ‘Rings Of Saturn’ album, on Shimmy Disc. With Britta Phillips, David Grubbs, Eerie Wanda, Jad Fair, Danielson, Paul Leary and Rob Crow and is rich, varied and excellent. Comes in a laser-etched box as six 7” records, each of which is on vinyl the same colour as its sleeve.
